Lying in the couch as the icecream thaws and realizing that i’m so happy with my life right now. It’s hectic as fuck with lifes three biggest things happening at once: getting married soon, buying our appartment and work beeing quite lifealtering right now it seems. But it’s all soo good and if we make it with at three then we have an amazing starting point for the rest of our life. Alot of work but it does pay off <3

Mixology

So one of my current focuses are preparing for participating in the norwegian barista championships. Which means making alot of espresso, caps and trying to make a signature drink… this might sound easy, but it’s harder than you’d think, and you get to taste some fucking HORRIBLE mixtures (espresso and grenadeapplejuice, shaken with ice and strained was one spit-in-the-sink incident.)

But its great fun, educative concerning flavors and such and a good challenge.

I have some ideas for a drink now, so enter some searching for ingredients tomorrow.

Ok, thinking of breathing some new life into this blog. My problem with blogging has always been the lack of spontanity, and the fact that when i sit in front of my computer with some spare time, i got nothing to say.

Enter the new era of cellphones. I finally got myself an androidphone, so now i can write when i want. Ive already stated that cellphonepics are the new polaroids, and the greatest creative achievements are made in the moment. So i think this might be good

So, there is a risk of a lot of coffee-related posts here. This wont be a strict fashionblog anymore. More on a whim, life seen through a tunnel, etc. whatever… Thing is coffee has started becoming a bigger part of my life. I work at a Stockfleth’s, working as a barista but trying to learn as much as I can about all the aspects, sourcing, cupping, roasting and preparing

Fresh start

Okey, so I’ve fallen back and forth, started a tumblr, started this and that, deleted it, changed names, layouts (boy so many times) etc. Learned alot, which all boils down to whatmy fiancé told me when I was standing in the kitchen; “you just gotta… stop thinking”. I’ll try and do that. I’ll clean up the layout to be as minimal and non-intrusive as possible, then start posting uncensored by my thinking what I “should” write.
