I am a photographer-slash-graphic designer, so a big part of my attraction to fashion is - actually - the things around the clothes, the design, the models, and especially the fashion photography. A while ago I found an amaing source for this - fashion photography.

It’s a livejournal community (relax, you don’t have to have a livejournal-account to watch the ahamazing pictures!), called FotoDekadent. So go and watch it, I spend several hours backtracking the posts (all the way to sometime 2006), lots of lovely pictures (and lots of not-so-lovelies and lots of broken photobucket-pics).

Just because it’s a good day

Nina Ricci (the fashionhouse) and Olivier Theyskens (the man) is brilliant! Found this more or less at random (there were a picture of mister Oliver in a “androgynous”-thread at a forum). But I love it. Which makes me loose faith in humanity, people suffer from anorexia which is a PROBLEM. And the solution the ooooh so clever french government thought of: ban all pictures of skinny models. It’s like when kids shoot kids and it’s the video games. Why are people so scared of facing real problems?
Why is it so much easier to find a scapegoat? This is a real problem, I don’t think banning anything will make it any better.

I’m shure most of you has already heard of the wonderful Muxtape. Well, it is AMAZING, I reccomend everyone starts using it. I have no idea whatsoever how it is run, since you can upload songs… and, there are no ads, no nothing, just a clean sexy design and interface. (The guy who made it is also a good photographer)

Anyhow, no long post since my world is up-side-down rollercoaster-slow while just sitting in my couch all day, so I present some music, pour toi.

A personal post for once. I’m trying not to ramble too much about personal things here because I’ve tried that and it turns out like “happy, wont be bothered to post” - “unhappy, ooh post!”. Oh well, an unhappy post here. We are in the middle of our exams and we are pretty tired! Too much, lots of responsibilities and stuff. Some minor money-issues but nothing to scream about. I’m having troubles with my job, so all in all we are pretty tired. And today came the big bomb, our landlord came knocking on our door, saying he didn’t feel us and his kids didn’t came along as well as they hoped, so they are basically kicking us out, which is just perfect since we really found a place we felt “home”. It’s so annoying and I’m abit pissed that they didn’t even bother to tell us before they felt it was too much. Not shure what we’ll do now, but…

Gonna write more about Annhagen later, but in the meantime check out the video for their SS08. I rarely like SS-shows but this has a lot of nice clothes!

You can listen to it at their myspace or you can find one of the 1,000,000 blogs that has probably already put up the mp3 (I know at least Smuglesning did). But listen to it and adoooore it! It’s the hypnotic vocals, the hard and dark elekktro soundscape, everything we ever loved about ladytron. even some sexy french vocals. I’m not gonna bother ‘reviewing’ it or anything, because it is, simply put, amazing, lovely and HOOOOT!!!

Oh, and by the way, if you do like ladytron, I shure hope you have got your hands on Seventeen ‘05 from the Destroy Everything You Touch album, it’s a remake of overly-famous-and-loved-by-us-all seventeen, and it’s DARRRRK! so dark it actually scares the living jeezus out of me every time. Or, almost. Actually it doesn’t, but it does send shivers down my spine.
